Welcome!
As a grower, there is this unbridled anticipation and anxiety that starts at the time I plant the first seed to the time the seeds sprout. Once the seedlings break through the surface and expose themselves to the sun, there is this indescribable feeling of joy that arises within me! I feel like I'm suddenly a new parent again with all of these new plants to care for. Now, granted, parenting is completely different than growing plants. Plants don't need to be disciplined, but pruning is similar. They don't speak or say things that have to be dealt with, not yet anyway. And they don't run off and do things that get them into trouble. There is this feeling of satisfaction that comes with growing plants that I just can't describe or explain and others can't really understand it until they actually experience it. I want to help you experience this feeling and that is why I started "The Grower's Journal."
I want to share with you my secrets of growing flowering annuals and perennials from seed and propagating landscaping bushes and trees from cuttings and other approaches. I also want to share gardening tips and other secrets about how to grow vegetables in your own backyard that will provide food for you and your family. My goal is to provide you with valuable information that you can use to improve your results as a knowledgeable and successful grower.
Shall we get started?
